COVID-19 Update

For all of our guests and site team

Golden Grove caravan site is committed to keeping all of our guests and site team safe, supported and informed. We are closely monitoring and following the latest government guidance.

As of today, (Saturday 21th March, 2020) our campsite currently remains open, giving you the chance to relax and enjoy the fresh air and wonderful open spaces they offer, while observing government guidance on social distancing.

However, If you are in a category the government deems most at risk from the spread of the virus, we would urge you not to visit us until the restrictions imposed by self-isolation are lifted.

Similarly, if you are showing symptoms of Coronavirus, please do not travel and follow the advice on the NHS website.

If you develop symptoms during your stay, your travel party must take all precautions to avoid contact with guests or staff, return home and all self-isolate for 14 days.

Whilst at the current time we remain open, you will notice some changes when you arrive:

• The caravan site will be running at reduced occupancy, with more space to promote easier social distancing between pitches;
• Meets, gatherings and socialising in groups outside your travel party are not permitted;
• All on-site social and communal areas will be closed;
• We request that no visitors come to the site;
• All facilities blocks will closed, this includes toilets. 

These measures will be in place until at least the end of May or until further government guidance is issued.

We have a huge duty of care, both to our guests and site team. We understand that these changes will mean that some of you will no longer be able to stay on our sites.

Staying safe with us

If you decide to camp with us it’s vital that you take the same precautions on your pitch that you would at home and follow government advice on handwashing and hygiene.

The NHS website is the best source of information about coronavirus and what you can do to prevent its spread.
